National Plastic produces a range of UPVC Pipes strictly in accordance with the ASTM standard on dimensions, materials and workmanship. The pipe
is manufactured from 100% virgin unplasticized Polyvinyl Chloride compound. No re-worked material is used.
PRESSURE RATINGS
The pipe is produced in a number of pressure ratings: 100, 125, 160, 200 and 315 psi rating at 73°F (23°C). For Sch 40 and Sch 80 pipes, the
pressure rating varies with the size (see table 1). As temperature increases, the pressure rating of the pipe decreases and an appropriate de-rating
factor should be applied as follows :-
