UPVC Pressure Pipe For Cold Potable Water
American Standard Range

Class 100, 125, 160, 200, 315 To ASTM D 2241
SCH 40, SCH 80 To ASTM D 1785 - 76

National Plastic produces a range of UPVC Pipes strictly in accordance with the ASTM standard on dimensions, materials and workmanship. The pipe is manufactured from 100% virgin unplasticized Polyvinyl Chloride compound. No re-worked material is used.

PRESSURE RATINGS

The pipe is produced in a number of pressure ratings: 100, 125, 160, 200 and 315 psi rating at 73°F (23°C). For Sch 40 and Sch 80 pipes, the pressure rating varies with the size (see table 1). As temperature increases, the pressure rating of the pipe decreases and an appropriate de-rating factor should be applied as follows :-

Operating at higher temperature and exceeding 140°F (60°C) is not recommended.
*To be multiplied over maximun operating pressures listed in table 1.
